Dalian aquarium and the Whale Shark
Last weekend, we went to Dalian to the aquarium. Mommy dove with the whale shark, and I used the itouch to write messages to her while she was in the water, telling her to find more sharks teeth. She only found one, but the other divers found more! At first I was afraid that the whale shark was going to take a bite out of her, but it was fine - he liked swimming around at the top. There were four other kinds of sharks, plus eels, rays, and lots of other fish. Mommy got to pet one of the eels, he was very gentle. There were lots of other tanks too, with sea lions, beluga whales, and big fat walruses. I have to wait two years to learn to dive.

i admire you for being so calm and cool while your mom was swimming around in the whale shark's tank! great pictures, too.
ReplyDeletethanks very much for sharing your (and your mom's) exciting adventure in this very well-written piece.
Amazing pictures and great reporting! You really know how to describe exciting scenes clearly and also dramatically (I think I felt your feelings too when you said you were worried the shark would chomp Mommy). I'm really happy you have more shark's teeth -- I think they bring good luck. Thanks for posting another excellent BF blog!! Love, Daddy
ReplyDeleteHi Adrian, Thanks SO much for this great posting. I can't believe how brave your Mommy was to swim with the whale shark!!! The other sea creatures sound very interesting as well and we want to hear all about them. I hope you can bring some of your shark teeth to show your cousins (and Auntie) in Palm Springs. It sounds like you have had a very exciting Fall and we can't wait to see you soon.
